Born in 2007, South Korean pianist Saehyun Kim began his musical training at a very young age in Seoul before continuing it in the United States, entering the prestigious Harvard/NEC double degree programme after receiving several awards for excellence in 2024.
Winner of numerous international competitions, in 2025 he unanimously won the Grand Prix of the Long-Thibaud Competition, as well as the Audience Prize and the Press Prize.
As a soloist, he performs with renowned orchestras such as the Orchestre de la Garde républicaine, the National Symphony Orchestra of Korea, and the Sendai and Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestras. He has also performed on prestigious stages such as Jordan Hall (Boston), the Seoul Arts Center, Yamaha Hall (Tokyo), the Fondation Louis-Vuitton, and at the Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier in July 2025.
